Terms of Service
The rules for buying and using LocalKit guides.
These Terms govern your purchase and use of LocalKit digital city guides, provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]. By purchasing or using a guide you agree to these Terms.
1. What we sell
LocalKit sells digital city guides: self-contained, editorially written guides you buy once and keep ("lifetime access"), readable on your phone and offline once opened. Each guide is delivered as an access code that can be redeemed on a limited number of devices (3 by default).
2. Orders, prices and payment
Prices are shown in euro and include applicable taxes. Lemon Squeezy is our Merchant of Record. This means your purchase is sold, processed and invoiced by Lemon Squeezy on our behalf, and Lemon Squeezy's buyer terms also apply to the transaction (including VAT handling). We remain the provider and licensor of the guide content.
3. Delivery and your access code
After payment you receive an access code on the confirmation page and by email. The code is your entitlement — keep it safe. It binds to your device(s) when you open the guide. Please do not publish, share or resell your code. We may revoke codes that are obtained fraudulently, shared at scale, or following a refund or chargeback.
4. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read the guide you purchased for your own travel use. You may not copy, redistribute, scrape, resell or create derivative products from our content.
5. Content & accuracy
Our guides are editorial and informational. We work hard to keep them fresh and we show a "verified" date where we can, but we cannot guarantee that third-party places, opening hours, prices or availability are accurate at all times. The guides are not professional, legal, medical or safety advice — use your own judgement when travelling.
6. Intellectual property
All guide content, text, design and branding are owned by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
7. Availability
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is" and "as available". We may perform maintenance or update content at any time.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
9. Withdrawal and refunds
Your right of withdrawal and our refund approach are described in our Refund & Right of Withdrawal Policy.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; the "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
